Red X Gold Glitter French Manicure

So I did my nails the other day because I am terribly bored. I took many pictures when I was painting my nails and thinking maybe I can do a tutorial if I succeed. Yea, I did it.

red x gold manicure

Well, I personally think it look really great and look even better from far LOL.

This manicure is extremely easy and you don't need any skills to do this. You dont need any "special tools" as well. All you need is, base coat, top coat, your favorite colors nail polish, glitter nail polish and one new/used make up sponge.

I will advice to use make up sponge with edges because it will be easier to create line. This is only for lazy and unskilled people. LOL.

Professional manicurist would prefer to use a thin brush though because they draw.

So this is how you start:

#1 Apply base coat on all of your finger nails.

#2 When the base coat has dry, paint the white mark on the tips of your fingernails which already has slight curve. Anyway you can still create the perfect curve by using tape but here I am doing it free-hand.

Oh ya, you need long fingernails to achieve this.

So here, the part in red circle is the white mark of your fingernails. Short fingernails wont have this. Alright so dont cut your fingernails.

This is how it looks when finished. The curve shape is not even on every fingernails but its okay because I will cover it with gold color later on.

#3 Take the make up sponge and paint on the edges.

#4 Simple and easy. All you do is just tap on the bottom of your painted curve to create a line. Again, your line doesn't have to be straight or too curvy just make it look natural and cover the uneven bottom.

#5 Lastly, apply layers of top coat. I applied almost like 5 layers because I want it to last longer. :D

And this is how it looks. Adorable not?

Alright, I admit I do this is actually hoping to get more views. Not just because I am bored. HAHAHAHAHA.

Anyway, this is not the first attempts for DIY manicure but the previous one all looks so ugly. TT

I am so proud of myself yo! ;)
